Monoamine oxidase inhibitors have been said to potentiate
the hypertensive effects of adrenaline, but there is no
good clinical evidence of such an interaction (21).
Nevertheless, care should be taken when contemplating
the use of adrenaline in patients taking a monoamine
oxidase inhibitor.
