The process of developing your vision and mission is interactive. Think
about what you envisioned when you first conceptualized your practice.
Engage a close friend in recounting the details that started you on your
quest of the perfect practice. Who was involved in your vision? What
was happening? What were the results? Ask yourself the following
questions: "Where do I see myself in 3 years? What about in 5 years?
If everything succeeds better than predicted, what will my practice look
like? What goals or purposes will have been met? Is my vision achievable?
Does it spur me on to explore new arenas?" Your vision and mission
will shape the details of your business plan.
