Two important procedures underpin urogynecology – cystoscopy
and laparoscopy; both are diagnostic and also
therapeutic. As correct diagnosis should always precede
treatment, it is important that the skills for these two procedures
should be learnt by all gynecologists and urologists
interested in urogynecological conditions, and their
trainees.
