Each skill is presented using the Nursing Process: Assessment,
Diagnosis, Planning, Expected Outcomes,
Implementation, and Evaluation. The nursing process is
a systematic method whereby nurses can make clinical
decisions and delineate a course of action based on
analysis of available data. The nursing process is continual
and cyclic. Evaluation of the outcome incorporates
a feedback loop leading to further assessment, decision
making, and implementation of care.
